Sharon was so lovely and kind during my appointment. There was a great range of dresses in the boutique and I was allowed to bring a handful of friends along without judgement. The customer service just went absolutely above and beyond and Sharon made sure to carefully consider my tastes to find the most gorgeous dress for me.

5 stars isn’t enough! I went here for my first appointment of trying on dresses so was nervous and didn’t know what to expect. The ladies were super helpful, so kind and joined in on the jokes with everyone to make it a lovely and relaxed atmosphere! There has been no pressure on tie restrictions on making my decision and they’ve been so understanding with taking my time to decide as all the dresses were so beautiful.
This particular day I booked last minute and was worried about going alone to try on these dresses, but Sharon was so amazing, made me feel comfortable and made me realise that this experience was the best experience I’d had so far. Not only was she amazing by letting me try on all the dresses I liked to make sure I had a great idea of style that I liked, but she was also brilliant at helping me get ready. She encouraged me to sit down and dance in the dress to make sure that I felt comfortable doing this. This made me believe that not only was that something I had not thought of, but my previous experiences were so restrictive. With Sharon I felt that not only did I find the perfect dress which made me feel like a princess, but the experience made it all worth while. Thank you Sharon.

A made to order dress is just that. Your dress shall be made when you order her.
During your 1st appointment you shall try on sample dresses. Finding your dream dress, I would then take your measurements and discuss the options for your beautiful dress.

Your Appointment
This is a 2-hour experience where you get to explore the beautiful dresses and accessories. As I like to offer an intimate appointment you shall have exclusivity of the boutique. I do not like to put a number on how many guest you can bring but I do remind you that there is limited seating.
Bring along somebody who truly knows you and your style, someone who is honest and supportive and who will make the experience an enjoyable stress free one. They will sit down, relax, have a glass of fizz or a cuppa whilst you slip in and out of gowns.
It’s a non-pressurised environment which is all about making you feel comfortable and confident. I will encourage you to try on different fabrics, silhouettes and embellishments to see what you prefer. I may even throw in a ‘Wild card’ or 2.
It is important that you are honest with me about likes and dislikes as I would be with you. This is one of the most important days of your life, you not only have to look incredible but more importantly feel incredible. If you are unable to decide on the day, don’t panic. We can offer a follow up appointment where you can revisit your favourites and say ‘YES’ to your dress.
The bridal consultation is one of the most exciting parts of a brides wedding journey. Here at About You Bridal it is not just about buying a gown, it is about creating memories and having the best ‘bridal experience’

Your beautiful gown is ready
Once your beautiful dress has arrived into the boutique I shall make contact with your chosen method of communication. If there is an outstanding balance you shall be asked to settle this and your beautiful gown is ready for you to try and take her home.
You shall be asked to book YOUR DRESS IS READY appointment.
This is a 60 minute appointment at a time and day that is convenient for you, so you can come back in and try on YOUR dress for the very first time. If you haven’t already decided, you may also want to take this opportunity to try on a selection of veils/capes to compliment your gorgeous gown.
Your dress may need to be altered so it fits you like a glove. This is quite normal to ensure that perfect fit. At this point I will remind you of the details of a recommended seamstress to assist you, however you may wish to use somebody of your own choosing. Alterations are not included in the price of your gown so payments will be made directly to the seamstress.
